Okie dokie, I've finally finished watching the Blade trilogy. I liked them all. The first one was probably my favorite, because I liked the way it opens and that Stephen Dorff guy played an interesting villain. Has he been in any other movie that's worth seeing? lol

Blade 2 was interesting but extremely graphic...kinda overly so. But the idea was interesting. I had to watch it twice cuz both times I was busy so I don't even know if I knew EXACTLY what was going on. The reapers (wasn't that what they were called?) were cool.

Blade 3...hmm. It was probably the most well done in terms of visual effects. But it was really comedic, more so than the others, and while I did find it funny, I just think it's weird that the last movie (unless you count the upcoming TV movie) would have so much humor. Dominic Purcell and Ryan Reynolds were great though, and that one chick was HOT.

The only thing about the movies that I don't like is that Wesley Snipes is so damn dull. Blade is seriously the least interesting character of the movies. Every time I find the supporting cast what I like best about it.

Anyway, I love the movies. I need to get the last two on DVD. (I currently only own the first one.) And I really, really, really hope the Spike movie and series is good...if they really suck it will ruin the franchise, lol. Maybe they can be like Stargate. The show's better than the movie.

Oddly enough, Blade II was on TV here last night and I stupidly stayed up to watch. (It's no fun getting up at 5:30 am, when you didn't get to bed until after midnight *yawn*.)

I felt the first film was just "OK" though I was never that impressed by it. I enjoyed the second, as I thought the plot was pretty good and hadn't been done before at the time it was released. I found it difficult to believe that Luke Goss was under all that makeup, but they really should have retired Kris Kristofferson off. I really don't like Ron Perlman, so I was almost cheering when he got his come-uppance. lol

I really enjoyed Trinity though and think it was my favourite of them all. I have the first on video, though I don't watch it that often, and have Trinity on DVD, which I have watched about a dozen times. I enjoyed the wise-cracking and the fact that it wasn't there to cover up a lack of action. The eye-candy wasn't hard to look at either! :)

I enjoyed all three, although all in their own way. The first one was very complete with a big emphasis on the plot, the second was action-oriented and a lot darker, and the third was much lighter, with the Nigthstalkers being freaking awesome :D

yeah i like the Blade trilogy too - but i thought the third wasnt that great because of some of the extreme unrealism to it

the homing arrow ? and did anyone notice that right after they broke Blade out of the police station that the guy and the chic stood there for like 20 seconds with noone shooting at them before that car came and picked them up? and the cops didnt even start shooting then until after the driver had said his line ? and the fact he drove off so freakin slowly like he was taking a leisurely ride through the park? lol sorry but that one scene annoyed the heck out of me

but yeah the first and the second were very good and the third i enjoyed as well - what was so graphic about the second btw ? lol the crazy reaper mouth sucking/biting thing ? eh it wasnt that bad =p

if u think thats bad though, NEVER see the movie Se7en o.O;;

i felt..totally messed up in the head after i saw that movie

I liked all 3 but The First one still remains my favorite followed by the 3rd one. I didn't like the second one as much as the others. I'm a huge fan of Wesley Snipes, and of course Jessica Biel...

Tal, I've seen Se7en, lol.

I wasn't saying it was graphic in a way I couldn't stand, there was like...twice as much gore in it. And then that one part where the reaper thing dug his hands into the guys back, that was the only part that made me wince, lol.

I loved the original of this film, but the others seemed to lack that edge. I purely watched the third one becuase Ryan Reynolds was in it. They were all enjoyable, but just not great.

i really liked the first one because it established blade as a character. contrary to prydain's opinion, i actually enjoy blade's character. he has a type of sarcastic attitude that makes you feel like he's superior simply because he knows things you dont.

i thought the second was ok but not as good as the first. i like "horror" movies with really good plots and not always gore, which makes me very picky about my movies.

the third one's plot was unoriginal and overused but the movie itself was pretty good. it was nice to see a girl on the good side and ryan reynolds was hilarious. the vampires, however, sucked major
