When Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) make a dangerous new enemy, Stefan suddenly finds himself in a perilous situation. Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev) try to convince Alaric (Matt Davis) to work with them to help Stefan. Matt (Zach Roerig) is hopeful that his mom, Kelly (guest star Melinda Clarke), may be back to stay. After her car breaks down in a storm, Caroline (Candice Accola) make a horrific discovery that shocks everyone in town. Steven R. McQueen also stars. Dennis Smith directed the episode with teleplay by Julie Plec and story by Brian Young.

I'm sort of glad that on this show, people always miss the heart with their stakes. Makes it more realistic somehow lol

Yep, that was Damon's stash of plasma-licious he was chugging. He's off the wagon. Now he's going to be all evil blood junkie next episode. :p

I'd still like to know where they're all getting those nifty magick rings......

Some origins of those rings would be nice to know, I only hope they're getting around to explaining the 'hows and whys' of those. And yup, Stefan's chugging the human stuff. Next week looks a little wild, looking forward to it.
