Yea, now Supernatural is competing with My Name is Earl and The Office. :(
Come to think of it, Tuesdays are now dead to me, too.

This move is as brilliant as FOX putting Bones on wednesday against Lost!

Well...in a WAY it could be good. Everwood did good and Supernatural is more "compatible" with Smallville than it is Gilmore Girls...I just hope this doesn't backfire.

What about the shows My Name is Earl and The Office, are they watched by allot of people in America? Does it stand a chance against them, I have never seen MNE and only seen the English Office

Well, My Name is Earl gets 12 million viewers, The Office 9-11 million. But I mentioned those because I love them.
Supernatural is competing with CSI, America's most-watched show, MNiE, The Office, and The OC. That's five hit shows in one time slot.

Whoa! That is tough! What was it up against?

Commander in Chief, which is dropping every week in ratings, House, and NCIS. Those are "hits" too, but it's not as tough and Thursday. I mean...CSI gets 35 million viewers sometimes.

The question is how many viewers do they have in common? Cause it doesn't matter how many viewers the other shows have if they aren't going to watch Supernatural anyway. It's a good pairing with Smallville - good chance it will keep Smallville viewers.

I would never put it up against CSI, or The O.C. for that matter, they already have too well established audiences. If this gets cancelled due to bad ratings because of being moved...I'll...I'll [Insert threat resulting in pain for the person who moved it here] This is how it always starts, they move it, then it does badly, so they move it again possible again after that till eventually the viewers can't find it and it's ratings plummet!

Well Vilandra's right, it doesn't matter for a lot of people. But I know some people who won't give up CSI no matter what moves against it, but they watched it on other days...but it only really matters if they're Nielson families, I guess.

I don't watch any of those other shows, so I don't care lol ;)

Well, I'll be good until this fall anyway, seeing as how I don't get The WB until 10pm. Next year...hmm. I'll probably watch Supernatural and acquire Earl and The Office another way, or tape them.

What type of ratings does Supernatural get, just if you know off the top of your heads, like are they good?

4-5 million viewers. Which is a hit to The WB.

Well, I personally watch Earl & The OC already in that time frame... but that's what they make VCRs for. :) So I don't intend on skipping any of the shows. But yeah, I hate when channels decide to shuffle showtimes. It's stupid. Seriouslly the last time a channel made an honestly REALLY good Day/Time shuffle for a show was like 1996 or something when Fox moved X-Files from Friday to Sunday. :P *L* Okay maybe not THE last, but one of...
But you figure there's only so much time to shuffle, cause come the new season (which Supernatural better freakin' make the new network for, cause the only shows on those two channels I'd be sad to see not make it are 1- Supernatural, 2-Gilmore Girls, & 3- Veronica Mars (because Veronica is quality, even though I don't see it a whole lot, but my mom's addicted to it)).
And I'm sure when the 'CW' starts, there will be all kinds of shuffling of shows that make it to new days and times.

The CW starts in September. I think the reason for this change is because everyone wants Supernatural paired with Smallville on Thursdays. And I guess Dawn Ostroff wants to see how Supernatural performs on Thursdays, and if it does poorly, I guess it won't make it to the network.
That slut.
