NEW YORK--Mia Farrow, who plays the menacing nanny Mrs. Baylock in the upcoming remake of The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that the character is less flat-out evil than the one played by Billie Whitelaw in the 1976 original.

NEW YORK--Liev Schreiber, who stars in the upcoming horror film The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that he was undaunted by the prospect of remaking the 1976 original film, as he'd already been through the remake experience with 2004's The Manchurian Candidate, an update of the 1962 original.

I love, love, love religious horror movies, yet I never find them scary, so I doubt this will be. But I'm still looking forward to it.

NEW YORK?Julia Stiles, who plays Katherine Thorn in the upcoming horror remake The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that she's younger than Lee Remick, who played the mother in the original 1976 movie, but that her youth works in the film's favor.

See, I have no problem with them using footage like it. If the point is to show evil things that have happened...why not? And I guess I wouldn't care anyway since I moved past this back in 2001.

NEW YORK--John Moore, who directed the upcoming remake of The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that he's as surprised as anyone that David Seltzer, who penned the 1976 original movie, ultimately received a sole screenwriting credit on the remake, though he didn't work with Moore and had no input into the updated horror movie.

John Moore, who directed the upcoming remake of The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that he believes his film suffered the same "curse" that plagued Richard Donner's 1976 original. "Honest to God," Moore said in an interview. "If you were to ask me, I believe there is a curse on The Omen."

Liev Schreiber, who stars in the upcoming remake of The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that he had his own encounter with the so-called "Omen curse," which caused him to break a rib during a climactic scene. In the scene, Schreiber's character, Robert Thorn, and a photographer played by David Thewlis are chased through a graveyard by a pair of vicious dogs.
