Question: I'm a big fan of Supernatural. For me it's kind of reminiscent of shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. My question is, how is it doing? Has WB announced its schedule for next season, and will Supernatural be on it? — Chris
Matt Roush: Well, given that WB will no longer exist after this season (being replaced with the new CW network, a merger of WB and UPN), Supernatural is in the same limbo that all of the other WB-UPN shows are in in terms of which will make the cut for the new hybrid network. We may not know for sure until May, but Supernatural has clicked with the target audience and is almost certain to return on CW. In fact, unless ABC somehow convinces itself to stick with Invasion for a second season, Supernatural could be the solitary freshman sci-fi/fantasy/horror series on network TV to make it to a second year.
