Do you believe in the paranormal? Aliens? Why or why not?

I believe there are aliens out there in the universe, but I doubt they are here. Mainly because I can't see anyone being adept enough to hide the truth. Monica Lewinsky is my proof.

I think there are probably a lot of unexplained phenomenon here on earth, perhaps not demons and such, but echoes and spectres created by the human mind. We only use a fraction of our minds, so I would assume something truly exception happens when the rest is utilised. At least I hope. There's got to be more to life than 9 to 5, death and taxes.

I would like to believe, but i'm not someone that believes on blind faith alone. Just like in other areas of my life I want proof, cold hard evidence that has been disected and will still hold up and prove to be valid.

I also think that its quite arrogant to believe that we are the only life force on this earth, there has to be something more.

I do think humans, animals, plants, fungus, bacteria (and viri, depending on your definition) are the only lifeforms on earth... but the universe is endlessly big, so statistically the chances of another lifeform SOMEWHERE are 100%. Whether we'll ever get to meet them remains to be seen. I don't really believe in the paranormal in a sense that I don't think there are ghosts or people who can talk to animals... I do think, however, that these self-proclaimed psychics are real, in the sense that in spite of the fact that what they tell is "fake," it does help other people dealing with grief over a lost one or troubles with their animals and stuff.

Hmm...well I believe there are aliens, yes, but not like in sci-fi films. I think they look like us. I don't believe God would create only us. I also believe that there are spirits and maybe even something to creature legends, however that doesn't necessarily mean they're paranormal in nature...I mean scientists say there are MILLIONS of species that haven't been discovered yet.

But I don't believe in stuff like vampires, zombies, etc.
