Bryan Singer, producer-director of the upcoming Superman Returns, told SCI FI Wire that he used every trick in the book to resurrect the late Marlon Brando and include him in the film as Jor-El.

I don't really know what to think of this... it's a bit macabre that they're trying to "recreate" him.

I'll have to agree with Allycat on this. That's pretty bizarre. And why go through all of that anyway? It's a simple matter to just cast someone else in that role.

Bryan Singer told SCI FI Wire he was thrilled that Jack Larson and Noel Neill, who both starred in previous Superman incarnations, both agreed to make brief appearances in Singer's upcoming Superman Returns.

Superman Returns director Bryan Singer has engaged documentary director Kevin Burns to make Look Up in the Sky: The Amazing Story of Superman, Variety reported.

Robert Meyer Burnett, one of the crew members on Bryan Singer's Superman Returns, told SCI FI Wire that he was mugged in Sydney last year during the movie's production, but denies it's part of a supposed "Superman curse."

A new toy line inspired by the upcoming Superman Returns movie debuted this month at the American International Toy Fair in New York. Mattel holds the master license for the action figures, role-play toys, die-cast vehicles, water toys and puzzles.

Warner Brothers has moved the opening of its upcoming Superman Returns up two days to June 28 from the original June 30, Variety reported. The new premiere date occurs on the Wednesday before the July 4th weekend.
