Favorite Character

I literally Love Sam, and his real Mr. Padelecki. This show is soo awesome. but I'm wondering, who's your fave character? Mine is Sam. Deffo.

I voted for Dean, because he's the one who cracks the jokes and sarcastic remarks. Sam just broods. Boorriing.

Its complicated really it is! they are both great characters but i love sam he's my favorite even though dean is a very close second...

I don't think I can choose. Dean has his sarcasam and his stupid one liners. And Sam's troubles makes me like his character. With all the things he had to deal with, besides his mothers death, he has to deal with his girlfriends too.

I can relate most to Dean—the cynicism, the sneaking around the rules, the stupid befuddlement when Sam does the "correct" or honest thing...

I sort of admire Dean's total commitment to his "vocation".

Dean's the bull dog and Sammy is the puppy. Dean you gotta love because he is smart and tough and sardonic and he's got wicked hot eyes (I have a thing for eyes). Sammy you gotta love cause he is sweet and puppish and he's got the big eyes. Alone, both characters suck, but together they kill. Literally. (Bad pun, I know...leave me alone.) If we saw Dean with out Sam I'm sure he wouldn't be as exciting because he has no one to banter with. Same thing with Sam. He would brood all the time with out Dean to kick his ass into gear and get him moving again. I can't possibly pick one that is a better character but Jensen is definately hotter. It's the eyes guys!! The eyes!!! They're haunting me!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!! *cough* anyhoo....

It didn't sound weird until you wondered. Now I can't stop laughing. Because without each other to bug and play off of they would be quite boring. Take a look at Dean. Most of his best lines are directed toward Sam and Sam almost always does something because of it. Something that defines his character as well as Dean's. Every time we see Dean save Sam/Sam save Dean we see a little more about them. Take the part in Home where Sam gets attacked and choked by the lamp. Dean saves him and hugs him later. We see that he does, in fact, have a heart. We wouldn't see that with out Sam. We know that Sam lives now basically because Dean is making him. They wouldn't be the same characters without each other so it's hard to decide which one to like more simply because all we have seen of them is of them together. Until we see them apart, that is if that ever happens, we won't really know the completeness of their characters.

The characters they portray are basically in a co-dependent relationship. They wouldn't live without the other. Dean is more than capable of "saving" his father by himself; we know that from what we have seen him do. But he hasn't gone to do that because he wants Sam by his side. Dean is defined by Sam. Likewise, Sam depends on Dean more than most people realize. Without Dean, Sam wouldn't be alive. He would have burned in the apartment with Jess. I know a lot of people think that the reason it went after Jess was because of Dean. I don't think so. Dean shows up and 2 days later Jess is killed...on the exact same day Mary was, November 2, 22 years later. That's not because Dean showed up.

Without the other, they wouldn't be who they are. That is why the boys would *snicker* suck alone. It's all your fault, prydain, that I can seem to stop giggling.
