I got a reply from Marti Noxon today. It was kinda long, but here is what she said about a possible Point Pleasant movie:

The only hope for a Point Pleasant movie is if the DVD sells really well. And people start to love it and talk about it. Chances seem slim, as I've barely seen
any advertising for it... anywhere. Of course, we'd be game - but I think it is a very, very, very long shot.

Its nice to know that it is a possibility :) Point Pleasant would work so well as a movie, Ohhh thinking about that, that would be soooooo cool!!!!! It would make a brilliant film! Now I want a Point Pleasant movie!!!!! :)

I think it would work best as a trilogy, personally. The first, Christina arrives in town, scary stuff happens, we learn at the end what she is. The second, more weird things, things start to seriously heat up, and in the third there's the HUGE battle between good and evil. :D

That would definitely be my favorite trilogy EVER.

I actually thought the whole plot of the series would make a good movie rather then a tv show.

Are you kidding me? A show is so much better because there's SOO many things to explore and do. I'd rather have a season 2 than a movie.

I would agree with you I would love a second season but I think a movie of PP would work really well, just they way the show is I could really see it working as a movie!
