This guy has never had a show that didn't get a series order. Every show he's made has been a critical hit and had a loyal fanbase.

And every one was cancelled within a season.

American Gothic...Roar...some comedy...Invasion. Roar was probably my favorite. But it didn't get a full season like American Gothic or Invasion.

Why, TV universe?! WHY?

If he did, it would have a small sci-fi element like all of his other shows. None of his shows have been officially classed by him as science-fiction, he called Roar a period drama with elements of fantasy, Invasion a family drama with elements of sci-fi, etc.

But a Hardy Boys sci-fi show could be interesting. IMO anyway. :D

Well Hardy Boys (the original tv show) did have sci fi elements to it - there were ghostly mysteries etc. :)

How old is this show anyway?

Early 80s I think - it was with Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy. I didn't really read the original books, but I have one based on the tv show that is "The Haunted Manor" lol
