Anyone seen it? It's the sci-fi show from back in the 90's about this dude who opens up portals between dimensions and ends up having to slide from dimension to dimension together with his professor, girl friend and some random dude, in order to get back to their own dimension.
I can't say I really like it, but it is entertaining that much I can't deny.
Anyone else?

It's alright, I watch it when nothing else is on.

I thought it was a good show, although the BBC stopped showing it after season 2, so I missed season 3 entirely as we didn't have Sky at the time...eventually got to see S4 on Sky tho'

It wasn't so bad. I liked it enough to watch every week....although I stopped after vital cast members began leaving the show.

The only thing that sorta stings when I watch it are some of the comments that I'm having a hard time swallowing.
Like the one where they were in the world without an atom bomb and that stoner dude said something like "Oh if we've had one, then WW2 would have ended 5 years earlier and saved a lot of life", which didn't really go to well with me.

Why? It's true...

Really? How many were killed when they dropped the bombs? Compared to how many that would have been killed if the war had continued. The amounts of lives we are talking about would probably have been the same.
Besides I think that in war there is, or at least should be a difference between a soldiers and a civillians life. Hence the stinging of such an comment.
Even so I don't think it would have dragged out for another 5 years, more likely a year give or take some.

The same number of people died from the atomic bombs as in the Shanghai fire bombings. Had the Allies had to invade Japan, the Japanese people would have fought to the last man, woman & child. A LOT of people would have died. Anyway, that's a discussion for another thread...
I see your point about the comment though :)
