Nobody can ever better Jon Pertwee imo, but then he was the one I really grew up with.

I have to say that David Tennant is pretty good though.

I started with Tom Baker in reruns then discovered the others as the reruns made the loop, so for me Tom Baker will always be THE Doctor.

Tom Baker will always be the doctor to me too, even though i'd watched a repeat of william Hartnell eppy's and the tv movie he did with the darleks,as my first Dr Who he didn't quite cut it until, i discovered Tom Baker..that scene where he emerged from the tardis complete with Scarf vicking helmet..etc who can forget that howler! that is till the Tennet! i'd thought Chris Eccles was good but Tennent is the best new Doc so far.

I am not a regular watcher of the show, but I think David Tennant does a good job :)

I've only seen the two newest ones, I think they were both fantastic. But I think Tennant plays the role perfectly!
