So what's your favourite episode from Doctor Who: Season Nine, or what's referred to here as Season One?

Rose:
Rose Tyler stumbles across a strange individual called The Doctor as he seeks out the Nestene Consciousness to prevent the living plastic it is controlling from taking over the world.

The End of the World:
The Doctor takes Rose on her first voyage through time, to the year five billion: the Sun is about to expand and swallow the Earth. But amongst the alien races gathering to watch on Platform One, a murderer is at work. Who is controlling the mysterious and deadly Spiders?

The Unquiet Dead:
The Doctor plans to take Rose back through time to Naples, 1860. Instead they arrive in Cardiff, 1869. In Victorian Cardiff, the dead are walking and creatures made of gas are on the loose. The time-travellers team up with Charles Dickens to investigate Mr Sneed, the local undertaker.

Aliens of London (1):
The Doctor returns Rose back to Earth, much to the shock of Mickey and Jackie, as Rose has been missing for a year.
A spaceship crash lands in The Thames and all is not as it seems with the residents of 10 Downing Street.

World War III (2):
With the Doctor, Rose, and MP Harriet Jones trapped inside Downing Street, the Slitheen make their move: Nuclear War. If the human race is obliterated, the Earth can be sold on the Galactic Black Market for a very reasonable price. It's up to the Doctor to defeat the Slitheen before the population of the Earth falls dramatically below recommended amount...

Dalek
The Doctor and Rose find themselves in an underground museum in Utah in the year 2012. The museum houses all kinds of extra-terrestrial artefacts the only living exhibit being one of the Doctor's oldest enemies - a Dalek!

The Long Game
The Doctor, Rose and Adam arrive in the year 200,000 on a broadcasting station that transmits programming to the Earth Empire.

They soon discover trouble is afoot when they discover any worker promoted to a position on level 500 never returns.

As the three travelers attempt to find out what is happening they discover they may have trouble escaping from the ever watchful eye of the Editor.

The Doctor is furious with Adam for interfering with time and leaves him at his home back on Earth, still with his chip attached, much to the shock of his mother.

Father's Day
Rose requests a trip back to the day her father died. Reluctantly, the Doctor agrees - to show her the dangers of time travel. They find themselves at a wedding but there is more to it than that.

Rose is forced to decide whether to leave the time line as it should be, or change history...

The Empty Child (2)
After chasing a mysterious capsule through time, the TARDIS lands in London during an air raid, where Rose is swept off her feet, and lands in the arms of a time traveller called Captain Jack.

The Doctor, on the other hand, follows a girl to a meeting of the homeless children of the Blitz. Here a child in a gasmask is terrorising them by tapping into phones and making all sorts of things happen, all the while crying out for his mummy.

The Doctor Dances (2):
The Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack finds out that Nanogenes from the capsule that Captain Jack used to lure The Doctor and Rose is actually responsible for the child in the gasmask and the other people that got infected by the child with the gasmask.

Boom Town:
Stopping off in present-day Cardiff to recharge the TARDIS, The Doctor, Rose and Jack encounter an old foe Margaret Blaine of the Slitheen in the midst of hatching a scheme that could destroy the entire planet.

My personal favourite was Dalek. Who would've thunk you could get choked up over the death of a Dalek?

Also I got a special kick out of the Charles Dickens one. I'm a Dickens fan.

I loved Rose, excellent beginning. One of my favourite episodes was The Unquiet Dead, it was an excellent story with excellent characters! And Dalek was also brilliant, great way to introduce the Daleks to all the new fans, they really got the point across of how bad the Daleks were.

But my fav episode was the finale, I loved it. It was just so cool, I loved that The Doctor sent Rose home to protect her, I loved the whole Bad wolf Connection, and I loved that Rose absorbed the energy of the Tardis and destroyed the Daleks and The Doctor had to kiss her to take back the power! Then the regeneration was so cool and sudden!
