View Full Version : BBC Downloads Question
I heard you can download old Doctor Who episodes from the Beeb. Anyone know where? I can't find them.

I hadn't heard this - there are certain radio shows that they make a big thing about being able to listen to after they've been broadcast but I'm not aware of any TV shows available for download (certainly not for free :))
It's probably worth investigating the BBC site - you know where it is...bbc.co.uk. I'll have a poke around and see what I can find...

I've seen a few TV shows, for instance Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps(you might not know it) that are on an offical Beeb site before and after TV aired but not Doctor Who......gosh, i wish they were though...t'would be awesome.

Looks like what you've heard may be what the Beeb are trialling with their Interactive Media Player (I think I've got that right :)) Unfortunately for the rest of the world it seems that this service will be available to the UK only and is copy-protected to boot...hey, we pay for it via our TV licence fee, so fair's fair...
