This show has started being advertised on UK Sky One.
It looks really good, but then many programmes do in the ads eh.
Has this been shown stateside yet?
If so, is it worth the watch?

The whole Pilot is available for viewing online right now here.

I'm watching it there right now. I don't get the Sci Fi Channel.

Here's what the article linked to in the first post says:

SCI FI's new original series Eureka garnered the network's highest-ever ratings for a series telecast in its history. The July 18 two-hour premiere got a 3.2 household rating, or more than 4 million viewers. That included 1.9 million aged 25-54 and 1.7 million aged 18-49.

Eureka was the number-one cable program on July 18 in household ratings, in total viewers and in the 25-54 and 18-49 demographics.

Eureka was also the highest-rated and most-watched premiere telecast of a cable original series in Tuesday prime time this year.

Eureka is executive-produced by Andrew Cosby and Jaime Paglia and stars Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton, Jordan Hinson, Debrah Farentino and Ed Quinn. It airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Edit

I watched it. Yeah, it's good. I'd say Stargate good, but more mainstream friendly. Character driven but good plot twists, and challenging concepts. There's a mysterious "they" to wonder about for future episodes.

I'm hoping Zoe went back to Eureka with Jack. I liked her. I want to know more about the dog too. I like Jo, but if they're going to have her matter of factly taking out Army rangers, I'd like an explanation as to how that's possible. Is she genetically enhanced, or something?

I intended to watch it but I haven't watched anything on my actual television in FOREVER. I'm always on the computer or out now, lol.

I found it kind of grainy watching it online at SciFi.com but that may be more problems with my equipment than anything on their end. I like the speed they deliver video to you there though.

The pilot didn't seem all that good.
I kind of got bored, but the controller was missing and Stargate was after it.
