I wonder if he's gonna try to update this somehow...or keep it in the alternate reality 1985. It's really kind of about the tail end of the Cold War, 20th Century America (and deconstructing the superhero I guess). I'm about a 3rd of the way through this book again. It's good stuff...

I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again...I really hope that this film doesn't get made. Hollywood does not get Alan Moore at all. I'd rather have no film at all than another Constantine or League of Extraordinary Gentlemen :)

Yeah, those gutted the originals, right Mr P? Didn't see 'em, but...You'd like to think they'd have a little more reverence towards Watchmen. But this is Hollywood after all...

Did you see V for Vendetta?

I haven't seen V yet but I've read some things about it which cast it in a bad light from a Moore fan point of view - but it wouldn't be fair of me to comment, as I haven't actually seen it. My brother thought it was pretty good - he's not as much a fan of the original work as me though. I think Alan Moore's reaction to films of his creations are a fair starting point for his fans though...

Like I've said about Constantine - if I didn't know the source material (Swamp Thing and Hellblazer comics, non-fans - highly recommended btw), I would've probably thought of it as an OK horror flick but...
