I really like the eps where the Doctor meets someone like Charles Dickens, or Queen Victoria, or Madame du Pompadour.

I hear he's meeting Shakespeare in Season 3. Who else would you like to see him meet? I've been reading a bit about Nikolai Tesla lately. Fascinating guy. Was getting ready to create a death ray. I think the doctor could have had fun with him.

I'd like to see a famous artist, like Picasso or Van Gogh. I think it would be cool to see them go back to Ancient Rome or Greece, and maybe involve one of the classical myths into the show, something like the Odyssey or Medea, I think that would be a cool one to see!

yeah H.G wells would be interesting you could get really messed up then. say they go back and when they come back they look completly different because theyve changed his outlook or somthing!

If HG Wells were to be involved, then honestly the story would probably be The Doctor influencing him into the making of the Time Machine.

I have to say, of all the characters from history that could be explored, I wouldn't want to see this one because it would be extremely cliche.

See, last night while watching the magnificent Robin Hood, I had a little thought.

The BBC likes to do crossover shows, so wouldn't it be a great Christmas adventure to have Dr Who meets Robin Hood.

I could just imagine it.
It would have to be set in a Dr Who special not a Robin Hood special as even though it would be, at heart, the same thing, it would just be more believeable as a Who special.

You could totally imagine The Doctor and Robin teaming up to face off against the Sherriff while Marian and Martha are being held hostage.

Personally the way Allens Sherriff is so witty, it would be just excellent TV to have the two having a conversation.
