Here's a brief little statement from the Smallville producers:
Saying "we've got everything crossed we can possibly have crossed," series cocreator Al Gough hopes to make a splash, if not a dent in the hotly contested Thurday ratings battle, when Smallville makes its season premiere this week. Listing the assorted tricks up his sleeve, he tells ComicsContinuum.com, "You are going to see inside the Phantom Zone. You are going to see Zod. You are going to see Jimmy Olsen, as well as an incredible amount of action, spectacle, humor and, of course, heart. I can honestly tell you that this will be our biggest season opener in Smallville history."
