I was just wondering if there are any good scifi/fantasy/horror series from Europoe (English-speaking countries) or Austrailia, or anything else, like HEX. I've been trying to get my hands on a couple of shows called "Strange" and "Sea of Souls" but no luck yet, not even sure if they're good.
I also heard some English network was developing a series that was supposed to be very similar to "Point Pleasant", called "Shiver" or something like that. Does anyone know anything about that or was it just a rumor?

Though I've not watched Strange I heard it was really good - it has one of my fav actors on it from Coupling.
Sea of Souls they show on BBC America - I only watched the first ep they showed and didn't really like it much. Just sort of boring imo.
I can't find anything on Shiver, though it does sound familiar...
Only other show I've heard of is Dr. Who

I'm afraid we don't seem to be all that great at producing decent sci-fi over here any longer.....

I'm currently sifting through a crapload of websites, perhaps I will bump into something for ya. Can't promise anything, though.
Were you looking for ONLY current productions, or are you open to older series as well?

I cannot recommend the new Doctor Who enough...it was a brilliant comeback IMO...and this time with a budget for props, effects etc ;)
Mrs P and I have seen a couple of eps of a new ITV show called "Afterlife", which looked quite promising and featured some of our favourite TV actors. It's about a psychic and looked to have a few scary moments...[url=http://afterlife.itv.com/episodes.html] Afterlife (] Doctor Who [/url)
We still have a couple of eps to watch but it has been pretty good so far - if you like a good ghost story.

Um, I was thinking more in the last decade or so, at least, lol. Other than Dr. Who.
