I liked this ep, I really like we are getting to meet some more hunters this series. And I loved seeing Amber again, her character was cool. I hope she comes back again.
I didn't like the ending, personally I would have had Ambers character come back and kill Gordon, amd have sam and dean find out and deal with the responsibility of it. Then have her come back again later in the series to annoy the boys.
And the vampire in the morgue scene was cool, it looked great when they pressed the gum and the tooth came out!

THE CAR IS BACK! And what a perfect song to bring her back AC/DC Back In Black.
I liked Amber's character. It brought a new dimension into the main characters and what they do. I also think that Dean saw his future when he looked at Gordon and he did not like what he saw. I think it helped Dean also cope with the death of his father.
I can see Amber's character coming back. She wants to blend into the real world and seems like she will do what it takes to achieve this...even if it means she tells the guys about a vamp nest or maybe something about the big bad. After all didn't a vamp have the colt?

The vamp took the colt off the hunter guy I think :) Loved Amber's character though - much better than Tara lol. I didn't recognize her at first!

That's what I was trying to connect. Maybe the demon use's vamps to hold onto the colt for him. I mean it's pretty hard for a demon spirit to protect, hide a colt.
So I'm thinking Amber might show how she wants to melt into the real world by telling the guys where the colt is and she helps retrieve it.
I am speculating here because in an interview she did about being on SN she implied a top secret plot and an intriguing part she is playing. I'm sorry but if she was talking only about this epi it was not that intriguing that she could not have talked about it earlier.
I got the impression she was referring to the idea demons didn't necessarily have to be bad, and need killing, but the colt thing that would be even more cool.
Isn't there a rumour going around Gordon is the character who will be recurring?

I must be in the minority then I wasn't really impressed with this episode, infact it kinda bored me.
The parts I did enjoy...the car scenes and the music, Dean and his baby back on the road.
Dean using Gordon as a father figure and someone to relate to about the job.
Gordon himself annoyed me and I wanted to slap him, Ambers character she was ok and it was good to see her as something not Tara but she didn't strike me as anything special, the character that is not Amber I do like Amber.
I liked how Dean questioned the fact that they kill without question, everyone doubts their line of work so to have that shown here and the fact that everything is not as it appears (i.e a traditionally evil creature, evolving and changing) it be.
So in summary I liked a bit of the beginning and parts of the end, the middle not so good.
Oh and the bit at the end after Dean punched Gordon and said 'im good we can go now' very cute :D

He might be now but as a foe against Dean and Sam.
But I heard the big recurring role was Amber.

I loved this episode!
If most of the episodes continue to be as intense as the first three episodes, the DVDs can't come soon enough.

I think the recurring character is Jo from Everybody Loves a Clown.

Another really good episode. The opening scene was very 'I Know What You Did Last Summer.' :)
I must say that Dean's car looks really nice and I loved the undercover scenes. Especially when Dean was making Sam check the head...lol...
Amber Benson was great as the head vampire :) And Dean kicked ass at the end. Very cool :)
