Madame de Pompadour finds the court at Versailles under attack from sinister clockwork droids. Her only hope of salvation lies with the man who has haunted her dreams since childhood – a mysterious stranger known only as the Doctor. Can a broken clock summon the Lord of Time?

I loved this episode - mostly because I love Sophia Myles. But I really like the historical eps :D One thing though - where the Doctor says he doesn't dance. We KNOW the Doctor dances! :D

When he charges through the mirror on the horse....love it!

My fave part is when he pretends to be drunk, lol had me in stitches!

I'm onboard for the "I love that episode" train. Sad and romantic with great comedy touches. There so much in it - so many layers. It's one of the best re-watch eps, I think. This one's a reason to buy the DVD.

Yup they've been dating for a while now. I forgot to tell you Sophia was also in the episode of Extras with Orli...her roles not that big but its a classic ep.

I have to say that when I saw the trailer for this episode, I thought it would be a little dry. I mean there didn't seem anything at all to the Clockwork Nasties.....but the episode just totally rocked.
It was definitely a highlight(one among many I might add) of the season.

This is kind of fun I think. Sophia Myles is going to play the female lead in Moonlight, the Angelesque vampire drama from CBS.

I was well freaked out at first when the camera showed us the masks of those robots. The shot were he is stood behind the childs bed was well creepy.

It was an amazing episode!! I was a little miffed that the Dr was going to take her with him. I know they had a connection but I remember feeling sorry for Rose!

I loved the ''I let you keep Mickey'' line too lol
