OK, y'all. I've had a rotten week. Bad day too, although I found out I've lost 11 pounds in a six-week time frame. So, that's good. But, I've also got a killer headache, so I'm going to go to bed after Supernatural. So, let's hope Smallville and Supernatural doesn't let me down.

So, yay to the return of Oliver and the Green Arrow.

Nice way to start an episode. Get a room, you two! Oh, wait. They're in Oliver's, um, clock?

You know, by the time it takes you to don that outfit, the bad guys might be gone. But, it is nice to see a superhero acting like a superhero--by protecting random people.

My closed captions are making up words and dialogue.

Pretty cool sequence.

Lois, it's "Ollie ollie oxen free!" I don't understand it either.

Wow! Awww... wow. You know, all the men on this show have been shot or stabbed. Sometimes, it doesn't pay to exist in Superman's world.

Somebody saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave Lionel from the cheesy fireball! Although the meteors falling from "Commencement" look just as cheesy and fake now, don't they?

Hey, a blue truck? What happened to the indestructable red truck?

Since when has the Kents had a big Thanksgiving? Why hasn't this been mentioned in 6 years?

Make yourself at home, Lois.

Lois still works at the Talon? How does she find time between being Martha's Chief of Staff and moonlighting for the Inquisitor?

Lana, because you're a baby who keeps demanding to be protected, even if you don't state the words. I mean, come on! You've never been single, you've always had men to protect you.

Obviously, the Green Arrow isn't dead. Hee hee hee.

Way to avoid the question. What's with him?

Oliver's going to be one of the catalysts to make Clark into Superman, obviously. And, I like it. Even though, what's with him?

Looks like Smallville has their special effects budget back. Clark was able to use his X-ray vision. In "Arrow," we saw him do his X-ray squint to find Oliver's equipment, but there was no sound effect or special effects.

It's nice!

Commercials. Why is it that One Tree Hill gets all the promotion, but Smallville and Supernatural really doesn't? Especially Supernatural?

Wow! A Supernatural commercial! Color me impressed!

What is Lois baking?

Clark, you're so quick to judge. You know that there might be reasons that he's "not himself." Brush the cobwebs off your brain, and figure it out!

"Not really." You lying liar!

At least, we now know how he healed so quickly.

Lionel comes a-callin', and Martha... don't you remember that your husband has been dead for a little less than a year? I know grieving and the length of time to grieve is personal, but right now, I'm finding it a little icky.

Where's Chloe? Oh, there she is!

Gee! Stop looking at each other like that you two!

And, you should talk about secrets and lies, Lana. Thecreth and lieth!

Um... what the hell? I snark about Lana as much as the next person, but I've never seen her just faint like that. That was weird. More thecreth and lieth.

Lois still can't figure out who the Green Arrow is? Wow.

Ouch.

Commercials. I've always been a James Bond fan. I'm looking forward to "Casino Royale." You know, a few years ago, when I was living on a co-ed floor in my dorm, we played "Battle of the Sexes." And, I won it for the female side! The winning question we were asked was "James Bond's number is 007. What does the double 0 stand for?" While the other girls were in conference, I said, "It means he has a license to kill." Which was the correct answer.

Oh, Smallville. My bad.

Why haven't we seen Lana faint before, if she's fainted three times in the last month?

OK, my mind is taking a weird turn. I'll just say that I don't like Lana, but I don't want to see her die. Seriously.

What exactly was that scene between Martha and Lionel about? They know they've got feelings for each other. We know they've got feelings for each other.

You really didn't hit him that hard, Lois.

Wow. Rocky the Flying Squirrel right here.

OK, that's weird. It's the same drug you're taking, Oliver! Sometimes superheroes are so stupid.

Well, hello, Lex.

Why is it that every single doctor or scientist on this show is greedy or evil in some way? What does this show have against science?

Whoa. You finally have figured out that Oliver isn't that bad of a guy, Clark.

You know, I've always snarked about Lana, but really, I feel sorry for her, especially given my suspicions.

You always immediately jump to conclusions, Clark. Except, we don't know that Lex did nothing...

Commercials. Nothing to comment on, except woo-hoo for the Supernatural commercial.

You know, I'm enjoying this Smallville episode. Really. Even Lana's not as grating as she normally is.

You know, they might as well just go ahead and relocate this show to Metropolis. It now takes places mostly in Metropolis anyways.

Seriously, why is it no person recognizes Oliver as the Green Arrow. Oh, yeah, it's the world of Superman.

Now, this is an interesting Mexican standoff. Bet on the bullet.

Where'd you come from, Clark?

Ouch.

Is Tom Welling wearing a necklace? I see a chain around his neck. Random observation.

"You killed him." I'll bet he'll live. Told you so.

Oliver Queen isn't such a good guy, but I still like him. I like his complexities. And, yes, I think he's complex.

Except, Clark has taken lives before.

Isn't it a 3-hour drive to Smallville? The writers can't even figure out where Metropolis is in relation to Smallville.

I seriously think Smallville is getting up and moving to Metropolis. It must be the Kryptonite...

Is Lana going to tell the truth?

Whoa. Lana's pregnant. Joy.

Does pregnancy cause you to faint? I'm seriously asking. Some women, I guess.

I'm sure whatever Lois cooked isn't good.

Jimmy? Wow. Jimmy was mentioned? Why wasn't he invited?

I really like that Lana confided in Chloe, though.

People dress up for Thanksgiving? Seriously? At my house, it's sweatpants all the way. Plus that, I'd spill cranberry sauce on my good dress.

Awww..... Remember Jonathan, Martha? It wasn't applause-worthy, though. And, what was the others grateful for?

Why the slo-mo?

Awww... Jimmy and Chloe are good together!

Remember the scene in the 1989 Batman where Bruce and Vicki are eating at this huge table, cut off from each other? That's what this scene's reminding me of.

A little impersonal, don't you think?

OK, y'all. Supernatural time!

Well, thank you.

And, that's my "famous" breakdowns. OK, I'm the only one who calls them famous, but you know...

This show has two very sickening relationships:

Martha and Lionel.

and Lana and Lex.

once again, i agree with the majority...i hate the martha/lionel thing. its just...weird. maybe its cuz they're semi-old. i dunno. i was kinda surprised that lana was pregnant but i also kinda saw it coming when she was at the doctor. the whole thing with the drugs enhancing queen was kinda...cheesy i guess...maybe more 'overdone'. dunno, but the epi wasnt bad. the trailer for next week's episode looks tempting.

Another great episode :) I thought Green Arrow looked more gorgeous than usual in that shot of him at the beginning on the roof top...very sexy!!

I'm not a huge fan of Lana/Clark (and I'm even less of a Lana fan at the minute) but the scene between the two were Clark is trying to get her to talk to him was heartbreaking. It was one of the most memorable scenes in the episode for me :)
