Uwe Boll, who directed the first film, also has helmed the follow-up, which finds Natassia Malthe (Elektra) replacing the original film's Kristanna Loken as Rayne, a dhampir, or half-human/half-vampire.

Has the first one even come out on DVD. I thought it looked interesting, but I don't even think it came out at the pics here.

Yeah it's on DVD, I wouldn't buy it if I were you. lol

God no - I saw it on tv a couple months ago. It's horrible. And I really really wanted to like it. But it is so godawful bad.

Not even enjoyable in a "this movie is so lame but it's still sort of enjoyable as a guilty pleasure" kinda way? :)
