Anyone got any favorite comedy movies? Just wondering cuz I saw a really funny one.

Some of mine are:

Anchorman
Mean Girls (yes, im a guy...but i still thought it was the most hilarious portrayal of girls I've ever seen)
Meet the Parents
Meet the Fockers (which do you prefer, this or the first one?)
Bring it On (omg Eliza Dushku is SO EFFIN HOT)

When I'm awake...I think of more. And include reasons why I like them so much.

OMG Prydain17, you have such good taste in comedies! Oh and OMG Prydain 17... ur a guy?!?

Anyway, I'd like to mention a few too.

What's Up Doc? - Barbara Streisand-film... right, anyway, it's really funny... al with mistaken identity and bags getting swapped around and stuff.

John Hughes' 80s Teen-Comedies - They're not always funny-funny, but really really good... all classics.

Can't Hardly Wait - .... together with Angel.. this is one of the reasons for loving Mandy. There's so many elements I could relate to in this movie and it's funny too ;)

Charlie's Angels & Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle - guilty pleasure... I know everybody thinks they're crap... but I happen to think McG is a visionairy lol :D

American Pie 1 & 2 - Classics... but of our own generation! I wish I owned these on DVD, I think I could watch them over and over again.

Allycat, yes I'm a guy. It says so in my stats, lol. "Gender: M". Are YOU a guy?

And thank you for saying I have good taste in comedies, lol. :P

Why'd you think I was a girl?

Hmmm, there's a lot of comedies I like... a few of my very faves off hand are

Home for the Holidays - Funny, nutty, the 'joy' of family gatherings quiet well put. I've watched this movie so many times and still love it.

The Ref - another dysfunctional family holiday, plus a burgler played by Denis Leary.

10 Things I Hate About You - one of the best teen comedies in my book, just loved this movie, it was funny, and somehow just was 'different' than the rest, though I don't know why or how exactly.

Perhaps more later... but these three were off the top of my head.

I'd have to say Old School, Shaun of the Dead, Animal House - that's all I can think of right now. :)

Oh, Shaun of the Dead *L* I loved that one, I'm still trying to find a cheeper price on the DVD than the like $22 bucks it's selling for still at Best Buy.

The Burbs. It just makes me laugh every time I see it...

I saw Mean Girls recently - twice, in fact. It was a really good and clever film.

Hm.. Bring In On.. Would say American Pie, 'cause I do like them it's just not really my kind of humour.. Heh oh and Eurotrip, lol.. I love high school movies..
Hm ok can't think of that many, comedy is just not my favourite genre, even though there sure are some great ones..
Oh forgot about: D.E.B.S., But I'm A Cheerleader, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, 8 Women... (Guess it's basicly the same as in my "guilty" post lol..)

"Bring It On" is classic! Kevin Smith movies are funny too. Oh and Mean Girls is a total guilty pleasure, like Freaky Friday and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. ^_^

I agree on all counts :)

Though living in NYC spoils some movies a little like in CoATDQ when they're in Times Square one minute and then say "Let's walk to the party, it's just around the corner" meanwhile it's 40 blocks away lol...

They can do that in movies, I'm sure they can, especially in comedies ;)
