I did, I just ordered Mr. and Mrs Smith and Keen Eddie: The Complete Series from Amazon, lol. MaMS looks SOOO good, everytime I see the previews I get hyped.

Anyhoo...anyone else splurged on themselves yet?

I'm sorry... but should other people buy you gifts for christmas? Anyway, we don't have prezzies at christmas here in the Netherlands. We have a different tradition on 5 December... which actually the whole American Santa Clause tradition is based on. But anyway we buy each other presents.

lol, the idea is that you buy someone else gifts, but some people, while they're buying for everyone else, decides to splurge on themselves. most people do it more than they'd like to admit, i think.

I see your point, Allycat, but I always feel that after buying all those prezzies for everybody else, I need to buy something special for myself. Thing is, I'm still trying to decide just what..... :D

I treated myself to the autobiography/biography (half written by himself before his sad demise last year and completed by his wife) of the late BBC radio presenter John Peel, as he was one of my personal heroes.

Haven't read it myself, but have heard v-e-r-y good reports about it. Hope you enjoy it.

It's been a very good read so far - I'm still only about half-way through the part that John wrote - and it's like listening to one of his shows (only without some of the more "experimental" musical choices he liked to expose us to - or should I say "unlistenable" :))

Oooo I thought it was just me that did this. I have bought myself a few things actually! I bought the Disney Monopoly game the other day I thought I might use it in school with the kids on the last few days! I love Monopoly and I bought myself Billy Elliot The Musical soundtrack. I went to see it in London in September and it was fantastic. The boy Liam Mower who plays Billy used to be a pupil at my school, that I work at. He was great I was in tears the whole way through, as I was so proud! Anyway I can't wait for the soundtrack to arrive! I'm soooo excited.

I always buy myself Christmas gifts.

It's like... one for Mom, one for me. One for sister, one for me.

It just wouldn't be Christmas any other way! :)

I mean you have to buy yourself something! When you see everyone else getting things, you want something too!

Summers Blood

Yeah and you can never be sure that the things that you want are going to be bought for you by friends or relatives. But if you get them for yourself you don't have to worry anymore!!!

I hate asking people for things for xmas!

You wanna make me one? lol. Since Night Stalker is canceled I need to get around to doing one...but Photoshop is on my brothers computer and he keeps it locked down and I don't know his password...I think he's scared we'll find his porn stash or something. Too late. :D

Oh, I celebrated Sinterklaas this year 'cause I have some Dutch friends here.. We got gifts from my friends mom and ate really weird candy :D

Anyways, I bought myself one thing, the Les Misérables musical on DVD (don't make fun of me).. Then I bought lots of stuff for my parents, that are really sort of things I want for myself.. Like movies I want me and them to see, and such. Ah well, they'll like it too, and I can just steal it in a few years when they've forgotten about it, heh..

I haven't been able to buy me anything. I bought something for everyone in my family today at the mall but I haven't been able to treat myself. Maybe this weekend.

I'm very tempted to buy the Dead Like Me season one DVD box set. I've never seen the show but I keep hearing things about it and it's got me intrigued. It sounds like something I would like.

I went to the mall earlier and bought me an X-Box. I also bought the three games: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Metal Gear Solid Substance, and some car game. I wanted to buy Buffy 2 Chaos Bleeds soo bad but I couldn't find it anywhere:(But I wasn't selfish. I had bought everyone in my family presents already. I bought my dad a leather coat, my mom some very nice snowboots, my sister a Baby Phat belt, and my brother some software for his new cpu. At least every one in my house is happy.
