I think so. *L* And I still don't think I fully understood all the various twists and turns and who, what, where, when, etc of The X-Files. But I gotta say, Lost has taken crazy plot loops and confusing stories to a whole new level. I don't think I'd ever call the X-Files mysteries 'convoluted', but that's what I'm feeling about Lost's whole mystery. Even looking at where X-Files was in it's whole mythology story by season three, and Lost, since it's in it's third season. I think there's more dangling plot threads right now on Lost than there were over most of the X-Files 9 year run, and that's saying ALOT, because even at the end, there were a few untied threads.

I definitely don't think so. I feel like Lost knows where it's going. I don't think The X-Files ever really knew where it was going, it always felt to me like it was making things up as it went along.
I'm actually never feel that confused about anything on Lost, and I feel like as it goes along it does give us a few answers here and there and gives us clues to the answers of other mysteries so we feel like there IS an answer and we'll get it pretty soon.
I sort of stopped worrying about the mystery elements in season one, trying to figure it all out. I mean, the mystery is one of my favorite parts but I try not to focus on that because there's so much else the show has to offer, and now the show is getting so much fun again I *really* don't care, I just want to watch. I'm enjoying it immensely.
