But we have to wait 2 weeks until the next ep, and the return of Captain Jack. What a rip. lol.

I really liked this one too, but it's not on my personal, "best so far" list. I did like the return of the way the Doctor solves the mystery, and gets resolution through science a la classic Doctor Who, rather than that Doctor as God, fantasy resolution place they usually go to.

I like the Jones family. I want to see more of them - especially Tish.

And we finally got to meet Saxon. What's that all about I wonder. I so hope he's The Master.

Sorry to burst the bubble but Jack isn't back until ep 10 or 11...the trailer after the last ep was for the rest of the series not the next ep, though I'd like to see the ep with all that stuff in it ;). It was nice to see Mr Saxon in the trailer though, looking sufficiently mysterious and malevolent...not in a coma, mad or really back in 1973 :)

I think the next ep should be the Chris Chibnall penned 42, which I believe is not only an homage to 24 (takes place in 42 minutes of real time) but also must also be a nod to former classic Who script editor and writer, Douglas Adams...this is one where I hope both rumours are true :)

A Douglas Adams homage though...gotta see that. Is Adams still alive? Too bad they couldn't get the real deal to write it. Well not a homage to himself, but nobody can do Adams like Adams.

Hey, if this homage thing works though, they should do Joss Whedon. ;)

Unfortunately Douglas Adams is no longer with us...he died in 2001 at the age of 49...a sad loss to the worlds of SF.
