Sorry for not getting this up sooner, guys. I went to bed really early and forgot about it.

I was kinda disappointed. It would have been a 'not bad' episode, but it kinda sucked for a finale.

Though on the surface the episode seemed mediocre I am absolutely juiced for next year. The show gets major props from me for special effects, absolutely cool in hi-def.
After the end of the show the song from Bugs Bunny was running thru me noggin..."A huntn' we will go, a huntn' we will go. Hi ho a merry ol' a huntn' we will go".
And Pry gets mega, mega, mega oh did I mention mega points for nailing it about Sam being taken over by an evil spirit. Even though it was not totally said it was put out there by the yellow eyed dead bastard.
Dean has one year wow no guillotine over the neck pressure there. Hey was that the same chick from the Crossroad Blues episode? Got a funny feeling that somehow John is going to do something about that deal because I found it odd that Dean was allowed to make the deal in the first place because in the episode the demon said Dean was off limits, who knew demons circulated memo's in hell? Got to wonder if the hand on the shoulder was a mental message passed between Dean and John?
Speaking of John "I clawed my ass out of hell" Winchester which way did he go after he vanished? Plus no one threw an opinion out there about my question of when Sam was on the flashback tour with dead yellow-eyed demon Sam's mom said "Oh it's you" when she saw the demon over Sam's crib.
Can't wait for next season it has kick-ass, reckless abandon written all over it because I think that now that Jake is dead Sam got all the powers from the other people. If so can't wait for the first shot super strong Sammy gives Dean...

I haven't seen this episode yet, but are you serious? Did I seriously predict something? Schweet.

It is kinda cliche/predicable that one of the hero's gets taken over at the end, they pulled it off last year, Dad got it, and now Sam's got it, typical! The next eppy I.E next years opener, will all about John and Dean saving Sam, yadda yadda....Pry, you predicted well....spooky!

Sam has one hell of a Personal fight as well as Dean now...

One other small detail I forgot to mention. So about 100 to 200 demons got out and a lot of hunters died in the Roadhouse fire. Soooo our boys are gonna be busy little hunters and I think that Sammies new found powers are going to be a wee bit helpful...or will they???????????

We don't know how many hunters died, do we? Also...I find it hard to believe that the Roadhouse had connections to even half the hunters that could be active in the U.S. Maybe we'll meet some more - I hope so. Also, I really get sick of every hunter being grungy and redneck. Does every one of them need to dress like tough bikers?

Oh, and speaking of the demons and spirits that escaped Hell - um, all that black smoke stuff was sort of shitty, IMO. I was hoping for variety, some demons with actual form, but maybe they couldn't afford the CGI. Grrr.

The more I think about it the more I feel like this finale was a tad disappointing. It had so much potential. And also, the show could have used this to give itself a wider feel - like this stuff is happening in our world, yet it feels like it takes place in a very small bubble world or something...like goldenboy has said, it's the opposite of epic in any way.

I know the black smoke was very out front but I saw spirits walking around in the background. Mrs TT and I thought it was pretty cool seeing them (the hi-def is starting to grow on her for some reason she just had no interest in the clarity watching football or hockey...chicks?). I must have seen at least 20 or so wandering around in the background.
As for the Roadhouse I gotta agree but the owner did say a lot of good people died. Some new hunters with a different appearence to them would be nice but if they do add some rednecks no mullets! After Ash how do you top that one??
A cool show would have Amber Benson's clan of vampires helping could make for a real unique angle.
