A young women begins getting mysterious messages from the past including cryptic DVD easter egg messages from someone calling himself The Doctor.

OK, now here's one they'll be talking about years from now in Doctor Who chat rooms, or whatever the equivalent may be.

Loved it. For me, this one really is the best so far. Loved Sally Sparrow. She needs to return. If Freema ever leaves Sally Sparrow needs to be the next companion. What a cutie.

I went back and watched it again. It was even better the second time. That's the mark of the great ones. When you see an episode like this don't you almost feel sorry for people who don't watch Doctor Who, or who don't get it.

It was horror/suspense, right? Spooked me anyway. I don't think I'll blink the next time I see a statue.

But why did Sally go to the house the first time?

That is what i'm wondering why she went to the house. Maybe the Angel's somehow influence people to go there. The black policeman did imply that people just drive up there and vanish...

This could be a Supernatural eppy!

Anyway after initiallly finding Sally annoying, her refusal to believe her friends grandson, and throwing the papers down was a little catty
she turns out to be a great character!

I was loving the Angel's and the lighting going off and on sequence and the endign wasn't that ment to impy things were going round in circles?
because Sally figures it was her who gave him the info for him to work with!
her name etc...He meets her a year later who hasn't met her past self,
so he hasn't met her before this meeting or knows about the creatures yet???

I'm confused!
Anyway it was great!

And Martha had to go to work in a diner to support the Doctor in 1969. Too cute.

Good solid ep...excellent story by Steven Moffat and great performances from the cast...I liked it nearly as much as last week's :)

Incidentally, the story was based on Steven's story in the 2006 Doctor Who Annual...which can be found HERE (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/episodes/2007/blink_annual.shtml)...I didn't spot it straight away but I knew that I'd heard the name Sally Sparrow somewhere :)

Due to my time away, its been difficult for me to get into this series.
I saw 'Smith and Jones' and I loved it.
I saw the second part of the two parter - Human Nature/The Family of Blood and I absolutely adored it.
I saw Blink tonight and...........OH!!! MY!!!!!! GODDESS!!!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant.
I read in the paper that Sally Sparrow practically shouted 'spin off potential' and when I saw the episode, I have to agree completely.

Brilliant episode, I think at the very least Sparrow WILL be back in a later episode because there needs to be some kind of Doctor recognition.

Loved it.
