A newbie to the cast of Hex, Laura plays kick-ass chickadee Ella. What can we say? She looks mighty fine for a 500-year-old...
So you've nearly finished filming. Are you having a wrap party and which of the cast is going to be the first to be sick in their hair?
I don't know anything about where or when the wrap party will be. The first to be sick will probably be me or Jemima.
What was the coolest scene you got to shoot?
I loved all the stuff where I go mad. It was really cool being burnt at the stake too. They had a stunt girl but I was like, "No, I'll do it and conquer my fear of heights" ... by being strapped to a pole and lowered into flames.
What are you up after filming is finished?
There's a few things mentioned, though I'm in two minds at the moment. I'll probably take a break and go home.
Can you tell us a bit about your character?
Sure, Ella is 500 years old, she's a time-travelling witch but not a witch in the normal sense. She's here to fight the forces of evil and tracks down Azazeal. She's very fiesty.
How many people have you snogged in this series?
2... so far.
Did you watch the first series and what was your favourite scene from it?
I really liked it when Cassie turned bad.
What I really love about it is there is drama and action. But it's very human which is the most interesting bit.
How has it been for you as a newbie joining the rest of the cast?
I think on the first day I had scenes with Jemima and we just clicked. They all had a huge amount of time off since filming for the second series began and the first ended so they came starting afresh. I've been made to feel very welcome.
Where will we have seen you before?
I did a film called Headrush released in Ireland, Reign of Fire and then there's Holby City.
