Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) is given an envelope with damaging information that will destroy Jonathan's (John Schneider) life and must decide whether he will use it as it will also bring harm to Clark (Tom Welling) and Martha (Annette O'Toole). Before he can decide what to do, Lex is shot and falls into a coma. He dreams that his mother (Alisen Down) visits him and shows him the life he could lead if he walks away from his father (John Glover) and LuthorCorp. In this alternate life, Lex is happily married to Lana (Kristin Kreuk) with a baby on the way. Meanwhile, Chloe (Allison Mack) asks Clark to use his powers to deliver Christmas presents to needy kids.

Erica Durance also stars. Holly Harold wrote the episode directed by Rick Rosenthal.

Great episode! Lex's reaction to Lana dying was so sad - and telling. Very interesting look at the character though. Shows that there's good and evil in everyone I suppose. But interesting turn that his glimpse into the future made him actually go down the dark path instead of making him good.

i didnt like the scene between clark and lana when they went outside cuz it was snowing...she said something about them having a lot of christmas' together in the future and he just kind of smiled...i hate that cuz that makes me feel like they're gonna break up soon (grr im such a girl)

I thought it was good. But since it wasn't mainly a Clana episode, more Lexana i was pretty happy. But besides that I thought it was good. Mike(Lex) did a great job.

Oh no! I can't believe I just read this thread, now I know Lana dies. :(

I'm only on the fourth episode. Of the entire show, that is...(just started watching).

Well here's a tip - if you don't want to be spoiled, don't read the threads for episodes you haven't see yet...
