Martha travels the world forming a resistance against The Master's evil empire while the The Doctor and Jack are held captive.

*

OK that one was strange. It'll take me a couple of viewings to grok on that, I think.

I was about 1 in 20 for predictions this season, so I want to get one in early for next year, because I think I've got a winner. Martha calls the Doctor up on the cell she gave him. She wants him to come to her wedding. She's marrying Tom Milligan (that's the name of that resistance doctor she met this ep, right?). Mayhem ensues.

But, looks like he's flying solo for the Christmas ep. Should be a hoot with the Titanic, and all.

Oh, and on Freema, I was worried too, so I rushed off to Google.

But Freema Agyeman, who plays Doctor Jones, has come out fighting, dispelling fans’ fears that she is also on the way out.

“I have categorically not been sacked from Doctor Who,” said the actress who plays the Doctor’s latest companion, Martha Jones.

“There’s no truth (in the rumours) whatsoever and I don’t know where they came from.

“But I’m not permitted to talk about storylines and I can’t talk about the next series.

“I’ve been gagged and if I do talk about it, then I will be sacked!”

It was an okay episode. I loved John Simms, but there were many things wrong with it. CGI-Doctor anyone?

Also, it doesn't compare to the "Parting of the Ways", much less to "Doomsday".

OK, I really liked this episode.
First and foremost, the greatest revelation
Jack IS the Face of Boe.
I love that. Its brilliant because we now know he will die, we even know when....so Torchwood can go on for, well pretty much ever!!!

I loved the Doctor and The Master throughout this episode. I actually liked the aging of the Doc to the CGI-Thing.
I WOULD have prefered Tish to have killed the Master than his Wife. When she said 'Doctor' at 3, it was obvious she would, so I was hoping for more.
I loved Martha.
I would say that this was the end of Roses story.
The Doctor is now aware of how special Martha is, and she WILL be back in season 4.

The Titanic, thats an interesting end. I expect Kylie will be playing a Lounge Singer.

What I do love though, The Tardis is the thing that sank the Titanic and NOT an Iceberg - Brilliant.

Jacks ending was a little off, but that was so he could go back to Torchwood.

I'm not fond of Marthas family at all, except the Sister.

I was SO glad that it finished the Utopia Story. I loved that episode, but did feel we had missed something.

I will definitely watch this again.
Its up there with the other season enders.

I loved this eppy too, plus i was on tenderhooks when the Dr was cradling the Master in his arms, because of what he might pull off.

I was predicting that the Master would die in spite and leave the Dr to undo his work in a race agianst time moment, but what happended was he died in spite all right, but only to break his hearts and leave him as the last Time Lord agian.

Martha was great as always and her speach to him right at the end before he sinks the titanic ( brillaint stuff althoughi woudn't be surprised if this is a missdirection it might not be the titanic as such..) was spot on! but why did she wait till then to tell him?

Dr as a CGI house elf well he was CUTE! as in kitten cute before anyone thinks otherwise!
I enjoyed his comming back even though it was bonkers!
I even loved the missdirection of the so called "Gun". The Reset button, ok it was cliche but it worked.
I was glad to see Jack shooting the paradox machine it served the TARDIS right for letting the Master take her away!
As far as i understand she is a sentient being and is alive BTW.

The Doctors heartbreak was wasted on The Master i'm afraid, ok i understood the need to forgive him but it was only because they were the last Time Lords
and he was eager to have his company and not be alone anymore, thus having the Dr trying to save him.It would of been different had Gallifrey still been there, i reckon.
