Jor-El strips Clark (Tom Welling) of his powers, making him human. Delighted to finally be "normal," Clark pursues a relationship with Lana (Kristin Kreuk) sans secrets. However, after Lana, Jonathan (John Schneider) and Martha (Annette O'Toole) are taken hostage by three thugs, Clark must figure out how to save his family without his super powers.

Can I just say wow! It finally happened! Clark and Lex down the enemy path, Clark & Lana...woo hoo!

I really enjoyed this episode. I thought that it was great to watch Clark really struggling with the knowledge that he had no powers and wanting to do what he could to save his family.

I loved Chloe in this episode too she just seems so smug about knowing something about Clark that Lana doesn't know. I love Chloe for that. I'm not a fan of the whole Lana and Clark thing, I feel sorry for Chloe because unrequitted love sucks, but at the mo she's closer to Clark than Lana because she knows his secret, and I'm glad for her.

Gotta agree all the way with the Chloe thing. Her thing for Clark used to just make me feel bad, but now she's grown and there's just so much fun in their friendship that you've gotta love it.

Nice for Clarkie to be human for a bit, but the man's have to start accepting who he is and not always try and hide it.
