What great sci-fi, horror, and fantasy shows do you feel like nobody but you has seen or appreciates? Or was canceled because nobody was watching? (This thread was inspired by one at TV.com)

Here was my response to that thread:

Point Pleasant
Miracles
Tru Calling
So Weird
Roar
Cleopatra 2525 (It was retarded...but corny and mindless fun)
All Souls
Millennium
Harsh Realm
Freakylinks
Wonderfalls
Threshold
The Others
Prey
Haunted
Veritas: The Quest
Carnivale (almost everyone who's seen it loved it, but I guess 2 million ppl isn't enough for HBO )

Point Pleasant,
Tru Calling
Dark Angel ( I freakin love this!!)
Roswell (That was canceled due to low ratings right?)
Firefly
I hate like these type of shows... They are so good but they have such a short life expectancy!

Oh, I remember So Weird! That was such a good show before that blonde girl came on. Didn't Disney cancel it because it angered the Christians because of the whole supernatural element?

No, they canceled it because it reached 65 episodes, which is the limit for Disney Channel original series.

I am a So Weird fanatic, but more on that later...I'm running to Wal-Mart. :D

Are you serious? ALL I see on that channel these days is 'That's So Raven' and that annoying cartoon with that hampster thing. Disney's really weird ...

Definitely Prey and Roar - not sure if it counts but also Covington Cross (a show set in medieval times).

I've never heard of Covington Cross. Was it supposed to be about just "normal" people in medieval times or were there fantasy elements to it?

As far as I can remember they were normal - sort of an Arthurian thing but no Merlin or anything. But still a show I loved lol

lol oh ok. I've always thought they should set more dramas in a period setting, to at least make them somewhat new and more interesting. In a way, Roar was, since the fantasy element was mostly a background thing, but since it was there I was always hoping it would play a bigger part...there were several episodes without any fantasy things going on at all...but still, I loved it and I wish it hadn't been canceled so soon. :(

Something that I just remembered while talking about this - Glenn Quinn was actually in the show lol

Is he Irish in real life? Or was that accent in ANGEL fake? I've only ever seen him in Angel. He was pretty good, too. I was sad to see him go.

Well he's from Dublin, so if you count that as Irish... :p

(Just kidding Dubliners, don't take my head off... ;))

Well I don't really keep up with actors and their birthplaces unless I'm really obsessed with them or I happen to hear and just remember...haha. Like...I remember that some N Sync guy was from my state (mississippi) and I only heard it once...and I'm not exactly a fan. I remember some of the weirdest things...*sigh*

No, that wasn't a dig at you, it was a dig at Dubliners ;)

I remember Good vs Evil very fondly. Firefly is a given, as is Wonderfalls. I liked what I read about Carnivale, tho' I've not seen any eps yet. I was undecided about Odyssey 5 but I would've liked to have seen more. Roswell should've had at least one more season. I only saw the first season of Jeremiah and would've liked to have seen S2 only Sky didn't show it. Another season of Dark Angel would've been nice. Mutant X should've been strangled at birth. What I saw of The Others was good...and so it goes for sci-fi and fantasy on TV...
