I have no idea how the character was portrayed in the films, but I loved Lena Headey in this pilot. She rocks. She rocked in 300, too.

Yeah she's good. I know a lot of people complain, and I don't know anything about what she should be like.. But it seems alright to me, and I'll watch it just for Lena Headey, and slightly 'cause of Summer of course..

Are you saying you've never seen the Terminator movies?
That kind of shocked me too. Explain yourself Pry.
The thing about Linda Hamilton was she came to the set of Terminator II all muscle cut, and dangerous looking, and that's the way the iconic Sarah Connor looks now.
Still...it's like the article says. Headey brings her own take to the character. Apparently that means a more doughy armed, middle-aged frump appearance.
If one can look past that though, Headey's Sarah Connor is pretty cool too.
(I still think they should buy Headey a gym membership though.)

That's exactly what I'm saying. :)
When I was eight or so, I wanted to see them, but my mom wouldn't buy them at Wal-Mart...and then after that I just was not interested at all, plus I'm not an Arnold fan.
I have the movies on my computer NOW after watching the show, but I haven't gotten around to seeing them.

Hehe that's my problem too, I don't know if I could stand watching him on screen for that long...

The first one though, it's not really him that much.

It's obviously Arnold's signature role. The man was born to play a soulless machine. Seriously, it's Arnold at his least annoying, most entertaining. T2 is very cinematic, visual storytelling—a minimum of dialogue. I think the kid, John Connor, has the most lines. It's basically a chase film. Plus...it's got narration, heh.
Actually, it's been forever since I've seen the first one. That one almost seems like a horror movie to me, it's such a bloodbath. Well, plus the whole love story thing mixed in. Gotta catch up again before the show.

I don't think you HAVE to, I mean I understood everything and I (still) haven't seen any of em. :)

Huh, that link for pilots that N4H posted...most of em don't work anymore, seems like. Guess you gotta act fast. Still haven't seen this pilot.

Whether you need to see the films to understand the pilot or not, you should watch the first Terminator pry. Seriously.
