I tried watching Torchwood, I just couldn't get into it. I'll probably try again eventually...
From what I saw it didn't seem much like an American show. At all.

But it's supposed to be similar to American shows, lol. :)
And to be honest, from what I've seen it's not much better than Smallville, and you know how I feel about that show.

Its ALOT better than Smallville, you have to give it a proper chance.
I would actually say that it draws from Angel quite abit and has similar scenes.
