Now I can imagine why this was booed at Cannes, lol. But maybe it's actually entertaining somehow. It kinda feels like a mishmash of Wes Anderson and David Lynch and...I dunno...

Pretentious, silly, film school crap. About what one expects from Kelly. Donnie Darko is something high school students find important and significant. That can work once as a lucky accident, but try it again and the flaws scream out their stupidity.

I actually liked the mood, the feel he got going with Donnie Darko. The look of the film.

This one, again, feels like a David Lynch knock-off. But not nearly as stylish, distinctive. It doesn't really feel apocalyptic or dreamy or whatever he's going for.

Boy, it's fun to pick people apart as I sit here, lazily tapping on a keyboard, lol.

I saw one clip that was fairly interesting, but that's about it. I think this movie is going to be a huge, insane flop.
