Edit:

OMG I loved this episode! So creepy and scary, especially the last montage of statues.

I just watched this one again, and I have to say this is my favorite ep of all 3 seasons of the new Who.

Just love that Sally Sparrow. In fact much as I like the idea of Catharine Tate as a companion, and hope she says to the Doctor "Am I bovered", I still think Sally Sparrow would be even better.

If I was ever going to try to hook someone on Doctor Who, I think I'd show them this one first.

Agreed - I love this one. It's this one and The Girl in the Fireplace and Tooth and Claw that are the best ones.

I watched this a few months ago, IMO the best episode of Doctor Who by far. It was amazing.

Just in case anyone missed it...Steven Moffat won the Hugo for Blink, which makes it three in a row for him.

BBC - Doctor Who - News (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/s4/news/110808_news_01)

Blink, written by Steven and directed by Hettie Macdonald, beat off strong competition from Paul Cornell's two-parter Human Nature/The Family of Blood and Catherine Treganna's Torchwood episode Captain Jack Harkness to be voted Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form.

The 2008 awards winners were announced on Saturday night at the WorldCon event in Denver.

The Hugo Awards celebrate the best of science-fiction across various media.

Steven has previously won Hugo awards for his Doctor Who episodes The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances and The Girl in the Fireplace.

I'm glad I wasn't a judge - I would've been hard pushed to make a choice between Steven and Paul :)
