I always thought Thor was the most ridiculous superhero when I was a Marvel kid. The "thees" and "thous", the long blonde locks. This movie could be a really fun fantasy though, especially since it's set in Asgard.

Yeah it could be fun, plus this guy did fantastic work on "Stardust" so I'd definitely be willing to give the movie a shot simply based on that.

“When I went into Marvel for my first X-Men meeting, I saw a figure on the desk and said ‘are you guys are going to make Thor?’ They said, ‘We’re just going to commission a script. We want to do it like Gladiator with Norse mythology and the birth of a superhero’. That really stuck in my mind. And when Marvel saw Stardust, they asked me to do it. So here I am, back again and prepping Thor.”

It's sad to think Vaughn was so close to doing X-Men 3. Wasn't bad, but could have been improved. Thor's sounding good, if he's a badass warrior.

Oh I'm sure X3 would have been better with him (although I loved it anyway). And glad to see they wanted him even more after seeing Stardust.

I might actually start getting excited about this movie. :)

A spoilery script review, here (http://www.comics2film.com/index.php?a=story&b=31371). Not sure if it's for real or not, but it sounds like fun.

Sounds interesting. Hm.

Will be interested to see how this movie works on the big screen.
