Sounds like it might be interesting.
The original ITV series ran for four episodes last year in the U.K. It starred Patrick Stewart as a special science adviser to the government who, with his feisty female bodyguard in tow, saves people from the worst abuses of science.

I think...I vaguely recall Mr. Pointy commenting on the original show, liking it.

Here's some inspired casting, I think. Get Al Gore to play the inevitable arch-evil nemesis. The corruption of science, you see.

I tried watching the original, never finished it. Not a terrible concept though, sounds like "Strange World".

Maybe they could get Leo DiCaprio guesting on the show...riding around in his Prius. Tom Cruise battling evil psychiatrists and Ritalin peddlers...
I dunno. Could be interesting. Science gone awry is a classic sci-fi theme, old as the genre itself.
We should send these ideas to Robot Chicken. :)
