LOL at the title.

Here are the sides from Pushing Daisies-TV (http://www.pushingdaisies-tv.com):

The deceased is one Harold Hundin, a dog breeder who tells Ned and Emerson that his wife killed him (apparently by putting cyanide in his coffee.) Unfortunately, it's not that simple as Harold is a polygamist with four wives, Hilary, Heather, Simone and Holly, each of whom happened to give him a cup of coffee the morning of his death.

So Emerson, Chuck, Ned, and Olive all go undercover with Digby to interrogate and get to know the wives, hoping to find evidence and/or motive as to who killed him. Emerson tells them to adopt fake names for both themselves and Digby to avoid potential detection (what if the wives start to talking to each other about the people and dogs they met that day.)

Olive and Digby, under the aliases of Pimento and Pickle, visit Hilary Hundin (first wife), a famous dog designer. She tells them a bit about Harold, including his love and devotion to his prize dog Bubblegum, who was also killed the same day Harold was when Hilary ran over the poor dog. She also had given Harold a cup of coffee the morning he was killed...

Ned and Digby, who have switched names, visit Heather Hundin (second wife), a renowned pet psychologist and host of radio show "Doggonit." Ned, under the name Mr. Digby, tells her that Ned has been having strange dreams lately, and may be suffering anxiety related to mating problems. (laugh.gif) She also gave Harold a cup of coffee the morning he was killed.

Emerson and Digby visit Simone Hundin, a fierce dog trainer (Harold's third wife). She tells Emerson that she and Harold were never in love; he was a dog lover and she needed a green card. She also begins to train Digby using what appears to be a shock collar and some kind of clicking device that sets it off. She also gave Harold his morning coffee...

Finally, Chuck and Digby visit Holly Hundin (Harold's fourth wife), a beloved woman who trains Labradors to be Seeing Eye dogs for the blind. Chuck initially pretends to be blind, telling Holly that she lost her eyesight in an accident involving dirty kitty litter that gave her an infection (sound familiar?) Holly calls her on her lie, and she gratefully drops the act. From her we hear more about Harold's beloved Bubblegum, known as the perfect hybrid of several different dog breeds. Bubblegum was apparently Harold's everything. Holly also gave Harold a cup of coffee the morning he died...

Olive, Chuck, Emerson, and Ned all meet back at The Pie Hole to discuss the case, each of them believing his/her wife is the guilty one (except for Chuck, who maintains Holly's innocence). Suddenly all four wives burst in, and Emerson asks them what they put in Harold's coffee that morning and it appears that Holly is the guilty one. She's taken into custody, even though Chuck still thinks she's innocent. Emerson agrees to further investigate when he finds out that all the blind kids Holly's helped have set up a "Save Holly" fund, and when money's involved, he's willing to keep looking.

So, the whole group visits Holly in jail, and she implicates a man named Ramsfeld Snuppy, a fellow dog-breeder who owns his own chain of pet stores; he has apparently been after Bubblegum for years because he wants to clone Bubblegum to create the perfect super-puppy. Unfortunately for him, Harold was never willing to give the now-dead Bubblegum up to Snuppy.

So Chuck, Ned, and Emerson pay a visit to Snuppy, and apparently discover some of his clones before he rushes in and hides them. Snuppy tells them that the day before he died, Harold had signed a contract with him giving him the rights to Bubblegum, dead or alive. He is attempting to extract viable DNA for cloning from Bubblegum's ashes, which he obtained with the contract even thought the wives apparently weren't happy about this. DNA testing reveals that the ashes aren't actually Bubblegum, which means that the dog must be alive.
