Private Practice

I've seen almost all the episodes of "Grey's Anatomy". I bought season one on DVD and I've seen all of season two, and I've seen all but the last nine or so episodes of season three, and I'm considering dropping it just because it's sort of lost its appeal.

But I'm now considering trying to get into "Private Practice". It looks like it's a lot more light-hearted and fun than "Grey's Anatomy" and I love the cast. Addison was always the best character on "Grey's" and the rest of the PP cast I'm also familiar with.

I was wondering what you guys thought and if you're gonna be watching it this fall. (I won't be watching live, but I plan on downloading it.)

I think I definitely have a chance of enjoying it more than its parent show, especially if they don't do all those cheesy, corny speeches that Grey's has every couple of episodes.

I love GA, I don't think it's lost anything at all from when it first started! Im really looking forward to PP, I've loved adison ever since she's joined the show, and I really enjoyed the "Pilot" episodes.

I really wished they hadn't gotten rid of the women from Alias though.

I'm not sure how much I will watch it because it's on the same time as Bionic Woman, but I would like to watch it. I like Addison (though I hated her at first) but I still like Grey's.

From a preview I watched last week PP is going to be about doctors who are established/wealthy in their fields but are looking for that 'thing' one needs to feed the soul. In other words 30 Something doctor style.

I agree that Addison has been the best GA character especially during the last season, and I'll definitely watch Private Practice. Haven't seen the first episode yet (although I've seen the pilot of course), but am looking forward to it.

Honestly I don't have that high expectations, I just know I like Addison and Piz (from Veronica Mars :P )...

OK, I have now seen the show and I was right - I enjoyed it a lot more than "Grey's Anatomy". It feels like a much different show, it's own thing, to me it's definitely not "Grey's 2.0". The cast is great, they work really well together and have great chemistry. The show is a lot of fun. Addison is awesome. The wellness center is pretty awesome too, much more interesting than some hospital. :)

I hope the show continues to do well and continues to be fun, as long as it does I'll keep watching.
