So everyone is wondering if there is going to be a season 3 of Hex and none has the answer! I was hoping they would announce it after the episode but they didn't, so we will have to wait. Even though none has given a definite yes to another season none has said a definite no either! Over on the SkyOne pages (Which I would advise anyone who has not seen the last ep to stay away from cuz it's spoiler central) There are two people who claim to have the answers(please note there is no proof yet!).
One is saying that there is definitely a 3rd season because a friend of a friend of a friend works in Sky and he says there is. This one seems very flaky and none is really listening to it.
The second is from a person who says they e-mailed Sky and asked them and they responded, and said that the show is on hiatus and if there is a season it will return in Summer 2006. <Here> (http://www.skyone.co.uk/SKYONEFORUM/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=128521)(The thread contains no spoilers)
That one does sound like a respond the network would give, cuz it is the perfect answer, 'Maybe'.
I'll email them myself, to try and get the same answer just so I can back this up :)

Oh I didn't see this thread before asking this very question in the episode 13 thread...sorry.
Well, I really hope it gets renewed!

So someone on the Hex Fourms has got a letter from Skyone saying they are still thinking it over:
Dear Lloyd
Thank you for your email regarding Hex. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding and for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
I am delighted that you are a fan of this very popular series. Unfortunately however, there is no information available at present regarding a third season of Hex.
Rest assured, your interest in Hex has been noted and passed to Sky One for their information.
Thanks once again for taking the time to contact Sky.
Kind regards

That letter totally does not give any information whatsoever. *sigh*
At least they're more polite than American network execs.

I also like how they said that it would be noted and passed on!

They ALWAYS say that! Trust me. I've written and gotten replies from lots of networks - Fox, ABC, Disney, Sci Fi...they all say the same BS.

oh! Awww poo!
I really hope they do another season, the end of season 2 left off in a great place for more.
I know it's not the lack of storyline that they are unhappy with, I think if there is another season the episode order may be cut in half.
Has anyone got Sky's contact address? Maybe if loads of us e-mail them they may decide sooner?

If there's a season three I want another 13-episode order. But anything is better than nothing, I guess.

Absolutely... I don't think they can or will cut back to 6...

It would be awesome if the show got picked up here with a coproduction deal that would allow it 20 plus episodes.

Ah yeah, that WOULD be awesome.
I kinda think it would be cool if FOX decided to air it. But lots of stuff would have to be edited. Or they could get the producers to make a version that would be easier for American audiences to enjoy. Because even though it's a great show, I don't think it could get be mainstream.
Yeah, I know I'm just grabbing at straws here but it would be cool (only if it was done with the original writers/producers at LEAST supervising). And FOX wouldn't even have to pay for rights, since it's owned by Newscorp just like Sky One. Hmm...

Oh I would only want it if it was the same people making it, just getting financing from the US.

Well, I'm saying I'd want the same people and everything but they'd have to change certain elements of it if they wanted it to succeed here.

They would really just have to cut out the nudity really.

How about the refferences to drugs and all the drinking the characters do? That bit with Ella going insane, that episode was full of drug abuse... that surely wouldn't fly, would it?
Vilandra

Why not? There's plenty of drug use on other shows

Yeah that's what i was thinking, lol. They show people snort cocaine on American TV all the time.

On the 28 January, in The Suns(English Newspaper) TV Guide someone wrote in and asked if there was going to be a season 3 of Hex:
