For anyone who has seen the new season, what did you guys think of him? I thought he was good. He could do the evil master mind character. But I did think it was wierd to hear him without the accent. But I watched Buffy and Angel a lot.

He was pretty good - made an interesting twist there at the end. :)

I really liked him. I was hoping he would be on there for a longer period of time.

I liked him, he was an intresting character. And him without his "Accent" is wierd, but I think I prefere it! - Helped to seperate him from Spike in my head, that and the hair, lol

Yeah, it was weird, but I got used to it after a few episodes of him.
We did see him with the American accent once in BtVS, when Riley saw him with Xander. Though, that was only a quick line.

Yes, but that wasn't his accent.
The funny thing about that was it was an America doing and English pretending to do and American....it was genius

He's the reason I started watching Smallville in the first place (I just finished season 5 today). I love him! I had already gotten used to the non-accent because I listen to the Harry Dresden audio books he narrates. He has a great voice.

I love James on "Smallville" but for me he will always be Spike... It's weird for me to hear him speak with his American accent.
