This will be the thread for posting Freema Agyeman News. Here's where we are right now...

Freema is going over to Torchwood for a while. Catharine Tate will take over for her on Doctor Who. FA then returns to Doctor Who. For how long? Who knows, but this is an interesting turn of phrase.

With the addition of Tate, the tenth doctor will have two companions in the upcoming season. Freema Agyeman, who plays Martha Jones on the show, has, however, signed on for a limited run as she is also starring in the show's spin-off, Torchwood.

What do they mean by "limited run"? It might not be bad if Martha becomes more a Torchwood character for now though. The Doctor who series is taking a break in 2009 with just 3 specials taking the place of the series. OK so Doctor Who takes a break, and Martha returns to Torchwood for 2009 (assuming of course there still is one). This is what I'm hoping.

She will appear in 5 episodes of the 13-episode season, and is the companion in the tie-in novels that have been announced.
