I went to see this yesterday, saw the 3d version. It was pretty good, the whole 3d part of it was the best part though. It was seriously impressive, made me jump a good few times with stuff flying at your face, way better then the nightmare before christmas in 3D!

I won't be able to see this, even if I want to. 3D doesn't work for me - you have to have vision in both eyes and I'm blind in my left. I've tried watching them before, but I get a terrible headache. :sad25:

It doesn't have to be viewed in 3D, does it? I thought some theaters were showing a 2D version, not sure.

Yes I think only a handful are showing it in 3-D.
I wanna see this movie but motion capture animation sorta sucks.

I think humans are gonna look like weird, robotic things for awhile with motion capture tech—until they get to the point where they can depict the thousands of subtle expressions you can get with a human face. Right now, it still looks wrong. Ah, what do I know...I've just seen the TV spots for this thing.
