Just wondering if you believe in it, if you've experienced it, what your definition of it is, or if you think there are various forms of it.
:doctor:
I was just thinking about it last night and was wondering what you guys thought...

I believe that you have lots of loves, but i think that u also have 1 true love. true love is different from other love. I have had my true love, and then things went bad and we split up.
but as the saying goes "if you truely love something set it free, if it comes back its meant to be and if it doesn't just let it be."
well now my love wants me back just dont know if i'm ready for that yet
But thats just my opinion, love is great either way. Just sometimes one sticks out more then the others. Some people search their whole lives for love when really it could be right next door. Thats why i think you should never judge looks only personality. If you look only for looks you may pass ur true love, and be miserable for all ur life. Sometimes you gotta look beyond the looks and look at the hearts.

Well I have to agree with Angelsbaby to some degree, I think we have lots of loves but only one true love. I haven't actually found my true love yet, but i'm not worried about it, I just don't think our paths have crossed as yet. When I find him I'll know, I'm sure. I have had lots of people I loved though in different ways!
Each person has taught me different lessons in life that have made me who I am today! I've had good and bad experiences.
I can't actually say i've ever really gone with someone for their looks, I've always been attracted to personality, I usually find that i'll get chatting to someone, they'll make me laugh and then I'll realise how nice they are. I think that people's personalities make them better looking. If they are a pretty, handsome person with a horrible personality I think this makes them ugly! But that's just me!

hmmm since this goes along the lines of love and i didn't wanna sit there and you know start a whole nother thread,
Do you think a date has to consist of going out to dinner and a movie?
Truthfully i'd rather not spend money, i like to go out just not all the time, I would rather sit home, in pjs and slippers lol cuddle on the couch watching some movies on hbo or something, and eating food cooked homemade, maybe some whipped cream and cherrys later *cough* i mean in the strictly innocent way lmao..

I love dates where you simply spend more time with the other person. It's much more personal.

Hm, I believe you can definitely experience many "true loves" during your lifetime... And I think most people are a potential "true love".. What I mean by that is that you can pretty much fall for anyone, if the circumstances are right and so on.
Like, the first person I ever really fell in love with, and had a serious relationship with.. is someone I would never ever fall for today.. But that doesn't make what we had less real or "true", I guess.. (Although, I'd never say that she was my "true love", gah, so not.. lol..)
I guess I just tend to fall really hard when I fall for someone.. Takes me way too long to "recover" and get over stuff.. And I forgive stuff pretty easily – it's easier for me to take someone back and forgive them.. than spending a year wondering if I made the right choice, and trying to get over them.... (Has been recently proved that this is bad for me though..)

I'm the same epo. I fall hard fast and then take a long time to get over the person. I think sometimes I scare people off because of this.
