So yeah, it was good. I was trying to figure out why that Terminator had to conceal a gun in his...thigh. Huh. That's how Terminators get around high school metal detectors?

Anyways, fun stuff. The action was good, by TV standards. It all felt a little compressed and sped up compared to the movies. And I'm waiting for a kick ass car chase sequence; looks like that's for the next ep.

The bank vault time machine assembly thing was very cool. Summer was good. Lena Headey was pretty good. She'll always be in the shadow of Linda Hamilton, poor woman.

I hope this show lasts a few seasons.

I saw the pre-air this summer. Really liked it but it felt a little rough. That's been tightened, and stream-lined, which of course, is what's supposed to happen. I didn't get that impression with Bionic Woman though. For me that one was worse than the pre-air.

This was a great start, I thought. Can't wait for the second part tonight. If this one fails I'll lose what little faith I had left in the intelligence of the average TV viewer. I just don't see how this one can fail. Then again I had similar feelings about Drive and Journeyman.

Hopefully it'll have wide enough appeal. It's got the instant name recognition working for it. And it's got action up the wazoo for all the fanboys (so far anyway). And, it should have angsty, involving relationship stuff. And romance...?

Seems like this has tons of possibilities...especially if they do any more time travelling, tweaking timelines.

The pilot got over 18 million viewers, FOX's biggest premiere in total viewers in eight years, and their biggest premiere in the target demo in seven years, since Dark Angel.

So I think this show will get a second season, at least.

The show got a big lead-in audience from the Giants-Cowboys game (and a lot of heavy promotion from Fox). Tonight's episode will also have help from the premier of Prison Break. This is probably the best support I have seen Fox give a new show in many years...it looks like the network is going to give SCC every chance to succeed.

Does anyone know what Fox is going to do with its schedule later in the year? Will SCC be moved when 24 returns?

You know, I really couldn't get into it. I watched the whole thing, but I almost turned the channel a couple times. But kept going, no, maybe it'll get better and more involving. But to me, I didn't get any connection or desire to care what so ever about any of the characters. There were a few cool things, but over all, it just didn't do it for me. We'll see, maybe it'll get better for me, or maybe I'll just give up on it.

I thought it was pretty interesting when Summer...er...I mean Cameron ate the chip, when John asked what was so special about her. What's that all about, I wonder. Is she, as Data used to say, "fully functional"?

Really awesome new show! I really liked it, Summer was awesome in it. Although I kept expecting something big to happen.

So it's airing in Ireland and the UK now BEG? Keep watching, it's getting really good, interesting now (even though the ratings are going down in the US).

OK, wasn't sure. I recall that '24' always seemed to air just a couple of weeks later in the UK.

They showed the first episode in the UK on Thursday. I loved it!! Cameron is such a great character. She was great at the school, the scene in the classroom when she took those bullets for John was great. I liked the use of the line ''Come with me if you want to live'' from the movie, it fit very well. Its really good how they have actors in this series that look remarkably like the actors in the film, especially in the case of the actor who plays John.

The only thing that bugged me a little bit was the ending of the first episode when they jump forward 8 years and it shows you Sarah's boyfriend and the police detective, they hadn't seemed to age at all!!
