So, I know that this is kind of off topic, but I was wondering how many Stephenie Meyer fans there are out here on A-D? I just finished "New Moon" (the second in the series) and I just started reading "Eclipse" (the third, I think there are a total of four books). I can't wait for the movie! Whoooo-hoooooo!

Oooh! I love the whole series. Have you read Eclipse yet? That's definitely the best one. And I SO can't wait for the movie to come out. I'm completely excited.

No, I'm waiting for my Mom to finish it. She's the one who got me started on the series. She normally doesn't go for the whole "Vampire/Gothic" novel type stuff and picked it up by accident, but after she read it she totally loved it. So I figured if my Mom, of all people, liked it, it must be good. And I was right! In case anyone cares, the movie (Starring Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson) comes out on 12/12/08 ... can't wait!

I like the books but I hate the fans... Not all of them, of course. But, those people seem to hate Harry Potter and it's really annoying. Sometimes, I wanna talk about Edward, I join a forum, read 'Harry Potter sucks' and end up leaving... And they also bash The Vampire Chronicles ¬¬.

I'm really excited about the movie too but I don't like Robert Pattison. I didn't like him as Cedric either...

Anyway, I don't the saga is that great. Some people think Meyer is a genius and I just don't understand why. She isn't Anne Rice, her characters are plain, the story is a total clichè...
