This episode was definitely laugh-out-loud funny, it had me cracking up. Most of the ways Dean died were simply hilarious. Breaking his neck in the shower (Ahhh!), the dog, the desk whatever it was falling on him...

I didn't really like the Trickster aspect much, I hated him in Tall Tales. I guess he's going to be a recurring villain.

Absolutely hilarious!! But the funniest was the axe accident, LMFAO! Nay, nay about the trickster though and here's why I think so.
I was on vaction the last week and had to tape the last two episodes and I watched them back to back tonight. Now if you include the witch episode the theme lately has been it's time for Sam to learn he can't rely on or need Dean. I strongly feel the demons who are on Sams side are 'training' him. The trickster is on Sams side and he desensitized him by killing Dean every way imaginable on Tuesday. Then when Sam finally figured out it was the trickster Dean dies anyway on Wednesday and Sam goes on a one man killing machine looking for the Trickster to kill him out of revenge, hey when you dig a bullet out of your own chest and stitch yourself up only one thing makes a man do that...revenge! Sounds like a crash course by the demons to me to put Sams humanity feelings into a box bury it deep and forget where it was buried. Why else would the Trickster let Sam wake up on Wednesday after months of fighting. Sam gets trained before the demon in the west gets stronger.
As for the Dean vs Dean I think that was all Ruby because Dean does not care if he lives until now that is. I think the Winchesters are a tandem that the rising demon in the west cannot handle and Sams team knows it but needs to change both their attitudes to have a strong chance at beating the new demon. So the last 3 episodes have really changed the boys attitudes. Man I hope with the strike over we get the rest of the season in because it is shaping up to be damn good.
